On December 24, 2024, I, Diyar Harki, as the founder of Fersan Organization, was invited by the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations to participate in a critical panel discussion held at the Royal Hotel in Ankawa, Erbil.
The event brought together local and international NGOs to discuss proposed amendments to the NGO law, the challenges of electronic registration, and other obstacles facing organizations. As a representative of Fersan, I shared comments, criticisms, and suggestions with the Office of NGOs, contributing to the broader conversation about improving the operational environment for NGOs in the region.
Additionally, Fersan took the opportunity to strengthen coordination with several organizations during the event, paving the way for collaborative initiatives in the future.
